The Roast Lamb Shoulder at Restaurant Es Garbell

Es Garbell, known for its paella rice dishes, is also one of the temples of Menorcan cuisine. In fact, in 2021 it was chosen as the best Menorcan cuisine restaurant by the Balearic Association of Gastronomic Journalists and Writers.

Among its Menorcan culinary specialities, the roast lamb shoulder stands out — slow-cooked at low temperature and served with onions caramelised in the meat’s own cooking juices.
