Bananas’ Tripe Sandwich

At the “Bananas” bar, we had the chance to taste one of the best tripe sandwiches with tomato sauce in Menorca. The tripe was perfectly cleaned and tender, without any strong flavour, with a very well-balanced touch of spice and an excellent homemade tomato sauce.

Bananas, run by Pedro Mascaró together with the brothers Nensi and Bernat Jover in the kitchen and behind the bar, keeps alive the tradition of these sandwiches and has not replaced them, as others have done, with baguettes and other pre-frozen bread rolls.
