Thanks to Vinum Menorca, this week we present a seductive and easy-drinking red wine: Arrocal Village Gumiel de Mercado 2023. A fresh, fruit-forward expression dominated by Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), complemented by Garnacha and Albillo Mayor. Produced by Bodegas Arrocal, run by brothers Rodrigo & Asier Calvo, in the DO Ribera del Duero. The grapes come from 20–25-year-old vineyards at around 830 metres altitude, with clay soils, and the wine has been aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels.
Appearance: Cherry red colour with violet hues, high intensity. Clean and bright, with coloured tears in the glass.
Nose: Dominated by aromas of red and black fruits such as blackberries, redcurrants, and strawberries, with floral hints of violet. Toasted wood notes and light spice also appear.
Palate: Smooth and fresh entry, with good structure and soft tannins. Long, balanced finish with balsamic and spicy notes.

Si voleu saber més d’aquest vi, el podeu trobar a VINUM, al Carrer Mariners i Pescadors, 4 del Polígon Industrial de Ciutadella.
