Foodies on Menorca
The Pedagogical Restaurant of IES Maria Àngels Cardona continues this March with its Local Produce Promotion Activities within Vocational Training, an initiative that began on February 24 and will continue on March 13, 20 and 27, 2026.
This series highlights the quality, sustainability and richness of Menorca’s products by integrating them into the practical training of culinary and hospitality students. The events involve the active participation of students, teachers and industry professionals, strengthening the links between education and the island’s business community.
Through gastronomic proposals prepared with locally sourced ingredients, the project promotes vocational training rooted in the territory and committed to responsible consumption. In addition to encouraging healthy habits, the initiative helps raise the profile of local producers and the primary sector, a key pillar of the island’s economy.
With this experience, the centre consolidates its role as a space for innovation and gastronomic promotion, fostering the future of Menorca’s productive and tourism sectors from the classroom to the kitchen.
