Roma's pizza of the week, a special treat for the weekend

Only this weekend, Pizzeria Roma in Ciutadella is offering a Neapolitan-style pizza that moves away from its usual selection, combining vegetables and delicate contrasts. On a base of tomato and melted cheese, we find courgette, finely sliced red onion, black olives and small dollops of avocado aioli, adding freshness and creaminess to every bite, with a beautifully balanced result.

The first thing that catches the eye is the combination of colours, but the most interesting part comes when tasting it. The courgette brings a vegetable note, the red onion an aromatic touch, and the olives an intensity that contrasts with the smoothness of the aioli. The wood-fired oven, Roma's hallmark, produces a crust with golden edges and that characteristic crispness that complements the ingredients without overpowering them.

This creation is part of the pizza of the week initiative, through which the restaurant surprises its customers with off-menu recipes available for a limited time.
