Cafè Balear’s Fish Festival menu champions seafood cuisine through a contemporary lens

Cafè Balear, in Ciutadella harbour, is taking part in the Fish Festival with a menu designed to highlight seafood from different perspectives, through a complete proposal that combines tradition, contemporary sensitivity and absolute respect for its origin. With starters, main courses and desserts to choose from across several options, the restaurant invites diners to discover the richness of fish and Menorcan culinary tradition through a gastronomic experience that is coherent, carefully crafted and full of identity.

Among the standout dishes are the tomato salad with pickles and ray, fresh and full of contrast; the pintarroja soup, which connects with the most deeply rooted and comforting side of local cooking; and the red scorpionfish in escabeche, which brings intensity, nuance and an elegant interpretation of a deeply local product. Altogether, the menu shapes a thoughtful proposal, ideal for enjoying the season and a way of understanding cuisine that pays tribute to the island’s seafaring tradition while also opening it to new interpretations.
