Bep Al·lès/Ciutadella - The Torretrencadeta estate is expanding its artisan range with a unique proposal deeply rooted in the local territory: a new semi-cured cow’s milk cheese infused with Menorcan chamomile. Made from raw cow’s milk and following traditional methods, this product stands out for incorporating local chamomile into the curd, providing a delicate and distinctive aromatic touch.
Weighing approximately 800 grams, the cheese features a natural rind brushed with olive oil and a firm yet creamy texture when cut. On the palate, it offers an appealing balance between the natural lactic sweetness of raw milk and the floral, slightly herbaceous notes of chamomile, which enhance the flavor with elegance rather than overpowering it.
This new creation reflects Torretrencadeta’s commitment to innovation while preserving Menorcan essence, highlighting local ingredients and flavors linked to the island’s landscape. With this launch, the estate reinforces its dedication to quality, tradition and the island’s gastronomic identity.
