Foodies on Menorca
Visiting the Son Cremat winery means stepping into a story of passion, perseverance and deeply rooted Menorcan identity. Located on the outskirts of Maó, this family project led by Joan Fullana was born in 2009 with a clear idea: to revive the island’s winemaking tradition through a small, honest and highly personal project.
After years of work and learning, Son Cremat released its first wines in 2015, initially white wines made from moscatel and chardonnay, designed for immediate and gastronomic enjoyment. Over time, the winery has grown to reach five and a half hectares of vineyards, incorporating new grape varieties such as merlot and syrah and expanding its range with a rosé and, more recently, its first red wine.
Today, Son Cremat produces four single-varietal wines that faithfully express the character of the land: two white wines under the estate’s name, the rosé Envit and the red Can Sagó. All of them are part of the same project, committed to authenticity, proximity and quality.
The winery offers guided tours by prior reservation, including a walk through the vineyards and a tasting of its wines—an ideal experience for lovers of local products and wines made with soul. In addition, during the harvest season, Son Cremat invites visitors to experience first-hand one of the most special moments of the Menorcan winemaking year.
