Bep Al·lès/Menorca - The eighth edition of the Menorcan Red Beef Gastronomic Days once again makes the island a particularly attractive destination for lovers of excellent meat and local produce. On 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18 October 2026, fourteen restaurants across Menorca are taking part in this initiative, offering visitors the opportunity to discover the culinary versatility of one of the island's most distinctive native livestock breeds.
Organised by PIME Menorca's Association of Cafés, Bars and Restaurants and the Association of Menorcan Cattle Breeders, the event features everything from complete set menus to individual special dishes, combining traditional recipes with more contemporary creations.
To make planning easier for residents and visiting foodies alike, Foodies on Menorca has prepared this guide featuring the participating restaurants, their published gastronomic offerings, prices and reservation telephone numbers.
Jaume II offers a set menu with several choices.
Choice of starters: Stuffed aubergine gratinated with Menorcan cheese, or fresh cheese salad with preserved figs and fruit.
Choice of main courses: Grilled Menorcan Red Beef striploin, Menorcan suckling lamb chops, or a fish alternative.
Choice of desserts: Traditional Menorcan sweet potato greixera, almond cake or ice cream.

The wide variety of options caters to different budgets, ranging from individual dishes to complete menus designed for sharing. The event also provides an excellent reason to explore different towns and discover restaurants working with the island's local produce.
The event is supported by the Consell Insular de Menorca and the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, with European co-financing.
