Menorca launches a new edition of its Fish Gastronomy Days

Menorca is once again turning to the sea with a new edition of its 2026 Fish Gastronomy Days, now in their 11th edition. Already established as part of the island’s culinary calendar, the event aims to promote seafood consumption while supporting the local restaurant sector at a key moment at the start of the season.

The event will take place over two consecutive weekends, on 17, 18 and 19 April, and again on 24, 25 and 26 April, with participating restaurants serving special lunchtime menus centred on fish and seafood.

Coming just after Holy Week, the initiative is designed to keep momentum going for businesses that have already reopened for the season, while also helping to reduce tourism seasonality.

As is usual with this type of event, menus will be adapted to the availability of fresh produce, underlining the importance of seasonal cooking closely tied to the island and its surroundings. Organisers recommend booking in advance and checking updated information at www.gastronomiamenorca.es.

Participating restaurants will be spread across several towns on the island, offering diners the chance to enjoy a genuine gastronomic route through Ciutadella, Ferreries, Fornells, Es Mercadal and Sant Lluís, with a total of ten establishments taking part.

The event is organised by the Menorcan Association of Cafés, Bars and Restaurants, with the support of the Menorca Tourism Promotion Foundation and PIME Menorca.
