Menorca for foodie travellers: partridge at the heart of a cuisine rich in memory

This weekend, Menorca reaffirms itself as a gastronomic destination for foodie travellers seeking authenticity. The island hosts the seventh edition of the Menorca Partridge Gastronomic Days, a special event that this year features only four participating restaurants, each offering a distinct yet complementary approach to this emblematic ingredient.

At Ca Na Pilar (Es Migjorn Gran), partridge becomes a showcase for new Menorcan cuisine, with contemporary, creative and refined dishes that reinterpret traditional recipes through a modern lens. By contrast, Mesón Rías Baixas(Ferreries), Molí des Racó (Es Mercadal) and Hotel Jeni & Restaurant (Es Mercadal) are firmly committed to a much more traditional style of cooking, presenting deeply rooted dishes inspired by partridge hunters’ cuisine and flavours that recall the slow, comforting cooking of grandmothers.

These gastronomic days invite visitors to discover Menorca through taste, travelling the island from table to table and embracing a cuisine that speaks of land, memory and identity. Four restaurants, one single ingredient and a culinary experience that beautifully connects past and present.
