Ensaimada and Sant Joan Sweet Confits Workshop: A Must-Try Gastronomic Experience for Food Lovers

Food enthusiasts and lovers of traditional cuisine have an event worth marking on their calendars. On Saturday, June 6, at 10:00 a.m., Inpan Bakery in Ciutadella will host an engaging Ensaimada and Sant Joan Sweet Confits Workshop, a free activity designed to reveal the secrets behind some of Menorca’s most iconic pastries.

Organized as part of initiatives promoting local products and the Made in Menorca brand, the workshop will offer participants a hands-on and immersive experience in preparing traditional ensaimadas and the colorful sweet confits that are closely associated with the Sant Joan festivities. It is a unique opportunity to learn about the artisan techniques, ingredients, and processes that have made these treats true symbols of the island’s culinary heritage.

More than just a baking class, the workshop is conceived as a cultural and sensory experience, connecting participants with Menorcan traditions and the craftsmanship of local bakers. Attendance is limited to 30 participants, ensuring a friendly and interactive atmosphere.
