Bep Al·lès/Ciutadella - Menorca can also be discovered in a glass of wine. And within this map of island flavours, Celler Binitord, from Ciutadella, has just achieved double recognition at the Premis Vinari, with two distinctions that invite foodie travellers to discover the island’s new wine reality.

Binitord Blanc 2025, Vi de la Terra Menorca, has received the Gold Medal in the category of young white wines from the Balearic Islands. Meanwhile, Binitord Rosat 2025 has been awarded Grand Gold as the best rosé wine in the Balearic Islands. These two awards place the Ciutadella winery among the most interesting names for those wishing to taste Menorca beyond its seafood cuisine, cheeses or olive oil.

For visitors currently on the island, the recommendation is clear: ask for these wines in restaurants that work with local produce, especially those offering Menorcan cuisine, fresh fish, rice dishes, seafood or zero-kilometre proposals. They can also be found in shops specialising in Menorcan products or purchased directly through the winery itself, a fine way to take home a gastronomic memory with its own identity.

In tasting terms, Binitord Blanc 2025 presents itself as a young, fresh and Mediterranean wine, designed to accompany aperitifs, fish, seafood, soft cheeses or summer dishes. With a clean and approachable profile, it is one of those white wines that pairs naturally with local cuisine.

Binitord Rosat 2025, awarded Grand Gold, points towards a gastronomic rosé: fresh, subtle and versatile, ideal for seafood rice dishes, terrace dining, oily fish, starters and light dishes. Two wines with which to discover Menorca slowly, glass by glass.
