Bep Al·lès/Ciutadella - Celler Binitord, from Ciutadella, has once again placed Menorca firmly on the Balearic wine map with a double recognition at the Premis Vinari, one of the benchmark competitions for wines produced in the Balearic Islands. The Ciutadella winery has been awarded gold medals for two of its 2025 vintage wines, confirming the excellent work being carried out both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
Binitord Blanc 2025, produced under the Vi de la Terra Menorca indication, received the Gold Medal in the category of young white wines from the Balearic Islands. This recognition highlights the freshness, Mediterranean expression and Menorcan identity of a wine born in a small territory, yet with an increasingly well-defined personality in the world of wine.
Meanwhile, Binitord Rosat 2025 was awarded Grand Gold as the best rosé wine in the Balearic Islands, an important distinction that consolidates the winery’s rosé as one of the most outstanding wines in its category.
These awards come at a time when Menorcan wine is experiencing a period of growth, with wineries committed to quality, differentiation and a strong connection with the landscape. Binitord, located in Ciutadella, represents this new vision: local wines with island character and the ability to compete confidently within the Balearic wine scene.
