Binitord, a 100% Menorcan winery with a family spirit and international recognition

Binitord is one of the wineries with the longest trajectory in contemporary Menorcan viticulture. Its origins date back to 2002, when two couples of friends from Ciutadella planted the first vines driven by their passion for wine. What began as a hobby gradually evolved into a professional project, officially entering the market in 2007.

Today, the winery is run by Clara Salord, daughter of one of the founding families, who has consolidated the project through a strong commitment to quality, consistency and a deep connection to the land. Thanks to steady growth and ongoing investment in technical improvements and equipment, Binitord has achieved a high level of excellence, earning recognition at international competitions such as Tellus and Catavinum, where it has received gold, silver and a Grand Gold medal in 2024.

Binitord currently manages 9.5 hectares of vineyards, planted with a wide range of white and red grape varieties. These allow the winery to produce a stable collection including a white wine, a rosé, two red wines and a vermouth. At the same time, the project continues to explore sustainable practices and the future incorporation of new varieties such as Grenache.

Guided tours at Binitord offer the chance to discover an authentic, family-run winery deeply rooted in Menorca, where each bottle reflects dedication, perseverance and a true passion for winemaking.
