Al Parico is more than an olive oil project; it is a tribute to the land and to Menorca’s rural heritage. Created to restore an abandoned estate, the project is rooted in respect for nature, attention to detail and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
The olive groves, first planted in 2018, now cover around 10 hectares with nearly 2,500 olive trees, mainly arbequina, alongside picual and hojiblanca varieties. For the past three years, Al Parico has been producing extra virgin olive oil, carefully managing every stage of the process with a small, specialised team and a sustainable, integrated approach to farming.
The oil clearly reflects Menorca’s island character. The proximity to the sea, limestone soils, Mediterranean climate and marine breeze shape an aromatic profile defined by green fruit notes, vegetal aromas reminiscent of tomato and artichoke, balanced bitterness and an elegant peppery finish.
Looking ahead, Al Parico aims to achieve organic certification, develop single-variety oils and expand its range, always guided by the soul and artistry that define this authentic Menorcan project.
