The Mahón-Menorca Cheese Fair turns Maó into the island’s cheese capital

Foodie travellers visiting Menorca from 16 to 18 October 2026 have an essential gastronomic date in Maó, where the Mahón-Menorca Cheese Fair will celebrate its 5th edition in Plaça de s’Esplanada.

The fair is devoted to one of Menorca’s most representative products and offers an ideal opportunity to explore the world of Mahón-Menorca cheese, its production, its different stages of maturation and the role played by producers and cheesemakers in the island’s food culture.

For foodie travellers, the fair is particularly appealing because it offers the chance to taste different styles of cheese, compare textures, aromas and intensity, meet professionals from the sector and better understand the relationship between Menorca’s countryside, livestock farming, milk production and one of the island’s defining gastronomic products.
