Foodies on Menorca
The new generation of Menorcan chefs has a clear role model: Pau Sintes. The young Menorcan chef has been appointed as the new mentor for EYCA participants, an initiative linked to the gastronomic and cultural promotion of Menorca that supports emerging talent and culinary excellence. Sintes succeeds former mentors Sílvia Anglada and Toni Tarragó in this role.
With a cuisine deeply rooted in the island’s traditions yet open to innovation, Sintes represents a fresh vision of Menorcan gastronomy: sustainable, creative and strongly connected to local produce. His role as mentor offers young chefs a unique opportunity to learn firsthand from one of the island’s most promising culinary talents.
The initiative further strengthens Menorca’s position as a high-quality Mediterranean gastronomic destination, where tradition, talent and identity come together. For foodie travellers, discovering projects like this is also a way to experience the contemporary soul of the island through its cuisine.
