Jaume II focuses on home delivery with an extensive menu of pizzas and casual cuisine

The bar restaurant Jaume II, in Ciutadella, is strengthening its casual dining offer with a home delivery service from 8 pm to 11 pm, allowing customers to enjoy a large part of its extensive menu at home. Orders can be placed by calling 971 48 00 46.

One of the main highlights of the offer is the pizza selection, with more than twenty different varieties and prices ranging from €9.90 for the Margarita to €17.50 for the Bosch & Bosch.

Among the options most closely linked to Menorcan produce is the Menorquina, prepared with sobrassada, ham, white butifarró sausage, matured Menorcan cheese, onion and honey; and the Quesos de Menorca, made with semi-cured and cured cheeses from Ultramar and Son Caravinya truffle cheese. The menu also includes options such as goat’s cheese log pizza, confit cod pizza, the Carpacciana, with beef carpaccio, Parmesan, rocket and extra virgin olive oil, as well as a seafood pizza, among many others.

Jaume II’s offer, however, goes far beyond pizzas. There are salads, tapas, sharing dishes, snacks, hot sandwiches and burgers, as well as more substantial dishes. These include grilled squid, beef entrecôte, cod with peppers and oven-roasted suckling pig.

For sharing or snacking, diners can choose from cod croquettes, hake and prawn croquettes, Serrano ham croquettes or chicken croquettes, as well as Roman-style or Andalusian-style squid, potatoes with two sauces and sweet potato with Parmesan. There are also classic tapas such as Spanish omelette, Russian salad, eggs with chips, meatballs in tomato sauce and cuttlefish in sauce.

The burger selection completes a menu designed to suit different tastes, with options such as the Menorquina, with bread, ham, sobrassada and Menorcan cheese; the goat’s cheese burger; or the Gross burger, with a double meat patty.

The home delivery service requires a minimum order of €10. Delivery within the town centre carries a €1 surcharge, while delivery to the residential areas of Cala en Blanes, Santandria and sa Caleta carries a €1.50 surcharge.
