Foodies on Menorca Awards 2026 to recognise the island’s culinary excellence at Fira Arrels

The Foodies on Menorca Awards for Menorcan Gastronomy will hold their 2026 edition on Saturday, 19 September, at 6.00 pm at the Es Mercadal Exhibition Centre, as part of Fira Arrels, organised by the Consell Insular de Menorca.

The event will once again highlight the talent, professionalism and track record of the establishments and professionals who contribute to the growth and consolidation of Menorcan gastronomy, from the restaurant sector to agri-food production, pastry-making and the world of wine and beverages.

In this new edition, the Foodies on Menorca Awards will distinguish different areas of the island’s gastronomic scene. The categories will include Restaurant of the Year, Best New Menorcan Cuisine Restaurant, Best Menorcan Cuisine Restaurant, Best Established Restaurant, Best Hotel Restaurant, Best Daily Menu, Best All-You-Can-Eat Buffet, Best Gastrobar and Best Grilled Cuisine.

The awards will also recognise key sectors of the island’s gastronomy with the categories of Best Bakery/Pastry Shop, Best Producer and Best Wine or Beverage. The programme will be completed with a Career Achievement Award and a Special Jury Award, intended to highlight particularly significant contributions to Menorca’s gastronomic sector.

Holding the awards ceremony within Fira Arrels strengthens the connection between the awards and one of Menorca’s leading events dedicated to local produce, cuisine and the agri-food sector. The Foodies on Menorca Awards aim to serve as a showcase for the island’s gastronomic dynamism while recognising the professionals and projects that help preserve tradition, promote new ways of understanding Menorcan cuisine and showcase its quality both on and beyond the island.
