Direct route to Asturias launches with 80% of seats sold

Menorca launched its direct route to Asturias this Thursday with a flight that took off in the morning from Asturias Airport with around 80% of seats sold. The route will connect the island and the Principality with two weekly frequencies, on Thursdays and Sundays, until November 1. The route was officially presented on Wednesday at an event held at Artiem Asturias, attended by the director of the Menorca Tourism Promotion Foundation, Begoña Mercadal.

Menorca and Asturias are now connected by a direct flight that allows visitors to the island to discover its many attractions, while also enabling residents to travel to the Principality and explore its gastronomic, cultural and natural offerings.

Taking advantage of the fact that the Menorcan hotel chain Artiem has accommodation in Asturias, the Menorca Tourism Promotion Foundation and the airline Volotea chose it as the venue for the official presentation of the route, which was attended by more than 25 people, including travel agencies and specialised journalists.
