Plaça des Pins to host the 11th Charity Stuffed Aubergine and Coca Competition

Plaça des Pins in Ciutadella will host the eleventh Charity Stuffed Aubergine and Coca Competition on Thursday, 13 August, an event combining traditional cuisine, music and solidarity.

Anyone wishing to enter the competition must deliver their dishes between 6.30 and 7 p.m. The contest and food sale will then take place from 8 to 11 p.m., during an evening open to the public that will offer the opportunity to taste some of the most representative specialities of Menorcan cuisine.

The event will also feature live performances by the group Distorsió and The Bons Tons Gospel Cor, providing the musical entertainment for a gathering designed to bring residents and visitors together through food and community participation.

Following the competition, food and drinks will be available for sale, with all proceeds going towards the fight against cancer. The initiative is organised with the collaboration of Ciutadella Town Council and the Ciutadella branch of the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
