Foodies on Menorca
Foodie travellers visiting Menorca during the first weekend of October can discover another side of the island in Ferreries, where the 25th Ferreries Craft Fair will take place on 2, 3 and 4 October 2026.
For three days, the town centre will bring together artisans, local producers, workshops, demonstrations, music and gastronomy, offering visitors an opportunity to explore Menorcan creativity alongside the island’s food culture.
The fair opens on Friday 2 October at 5.00 pm. Saturday’s programme will also coincide with the weekly agri-food market in Plaça d’Espanya, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm.
One of the main foodie highlights will take place at 12.00 noon on Saturday, when Sa Cooperativa del Camp and chef Pau Sintes host a live cooking demonstration. They will prepare meatballs made with Menorca’s native red cattle, served with caper and mushroom sauce, followed by dark chocolate ganache with crisp bread, olive oil and spicy salt.
On Sunday at 12.00 noon, another live cooking session will feature Sa Cooperativa del Camp and young Ferreries chef Joan Caballo, with cuttlefish noodles, sobrasada and a filled bread roll, followed by melon sorbet with gin and lemon.
Food exhibitors include Binigarba, Fruits Secs Ciutadella, Verdures Ramellet, Mel i Reines, Sa Croquetera de Menorca, Hot Dogs Can Uoti, Santa Cecilia, Forn Azahar and Menorcarons, among others.
