The Woven Sounds, a unique cultural experience for food-loving travellers in Menorca

A trip to Menorca is about much more than outstanding cuisine. It is also an opportunity to discover authentic cultural experiences that celebrate tradition, craftsmanship and heritage. The Woven Sounds is one of this summer's most distinctive events.

On 9 July at 10:00 pm, the spectacular Pedreres de s'Hostal (Lithica) will host this extraordinary performance combining live music, visual arts and the ancient Persian carpet-weaving tradition.

Created by Iranian composer and filmmaker Mehdi Aminian, the project revives traditional musical repertoires connected with Iranian weaving workshops. Live music is performed while a master weaver creates her work on stage, producing a powerful dialogue between sound, craftsmanship and memory.

It is an excellent cultural recommendation for travellers looking to complement Menorca's renowned gastronomy with an unforgettable evening in one of the island's most impressive heritage sites.
