Talk in Ciutadella on how to observe the total solar eclipse from Menorca

The Cercle Artístic of Ciutadella is hosting on, Friday 13 March at 8:00 p.m., a talk explaining how the total solar eclipse can be observed from Menorca. The lecture, titled How to See the Total Solar Eclipse in Menorca?, will be given by Javier Ares.

The session is organised in collaboration with Polaris Menorca and aims to bring this astronomical phenomenon closer to the public, as well as to offer practical recommendations on how to observe it correctly and safely. During the talk, the characteristics of the eclipse will be explained, how it will occur and what the best conditions are for observing it from the island.

The activity is free to attend and open to anyone interested in astronomy or natural phenomena that can be observed from Menorca.

With this outreach initiative, the Cercle Artístic continues to expand its cultural programme with activities that combine science and dissemination, bringing astronomical events of special interest closer to the general public.
