Son Bou in bloom: a colourful walk to complete a stay in Menorca

Foodie travellers exploring Menorca these days will find in Son Bou an ideal proposal to complete a day of beach, gastronomy and discovery of the local area. From 20 to 28 June, this residential area of Alaior hosts a new edition of the Flower Days, an initiative that fills public spaces with floral decorations, creative installations and a spring-like atmosphere.

After taking place in other parts of the municipality, the Flower Days now arrive in Son Bou with the aim of beautifying the streets and inviting residents and visitors to stroll with a slower, more artistic gaze. It is a simple but attractive activity for those who wish to discover a gentler, more approachable Menorca, closely connected to local life.

The opening will take place this Saturday, 20 June, at 8.00 p.m., next to the tourist information point, with a musical performance by Luciano Etchehandy Lefthandy Project.

A good excuse to combine the sea, Menorcan cuisine and an evening stroll among flowers, music and an early-summer atmosphere.
