From Marès Stone to Alabaster, an artistic journey into Menorca’s cultural heritage

Culture is an essential part of the foodie travel experience. This summer, visitors to Ciutadella can complement their culinary discoveries with "From Marès Stone to Alabaster", an exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of Lithica’s Sculpture Workshop.

The exhibition brings together twenty sculptures created by ten workshop artists, exploring the creative dialogue between traditional marès stone, so closely linked to Menorca’s architecture, and alabaster. A photographic exhibition also offers a glimpse into the daily life of the workshop and its artistic community.

Located in Ciutadella’s Municipal Art Centre, it is an excellent cultural stop before or after dining in the old town or visiting the famous Lithica quarries.
