Edith Salazar to star in the 15th Full Moon Concert at Torre d’en Galmés

The Talayotic settlement of Torre d’en Galmés will once again become a privileged stage on Tuesday, 30 June, for the 15th Full Moon Concert, one of the most unique cultural events of the summer in Alaior. This year’s edition will feature Edith Salazar, who will present the show A solas con Edith Salazar, with the participation of Vanesa Gálvez in the dance section.

The concert will begin at 9.30 p.m. in one of Menorca’s most emblematic archaeological sites, where music, dance and the light of the full moon will come together in an intimate proposal full of artistic sensitivity.

Edith Salazar, born in Venezuela, is a multifaceted artist with a long career linked to music, the stage and vocal training. A singer, pianist, composer, musical and theatre director, music producer, actress and vocal coach, she has developed much of her career in Spain. Throughout her professional career she has collaborated with artists such as Miguel Bosé, Alaska —Fangoria—, José Luis Perales, Sergio Dalma, Simón Díaz and Álex de la Nuez.

With A solas con Edith Salazar, the artist proposes a close and special concert, conceived for a setting as unique as Torre d’en Galmés. The presence of dancer Vanesa Gálvez will bring a corporal and visual language that will reinforce the scenic character of the evening.

The mayor of Alaior, José Luis Benejam, has highlighted that the Full Moon Concert is one of the proposals that best expresses the union between heritage and music.
