Foodies on Menorca
Travellers wishing to discover a more cultural side of Menorca can add a visit to AlcaufART to their gastronomic itinerary. The collective exhibition is being held at Alcaufar Vell, in Sant Lluís, and will remain open until the end of October.
The exhibition brings together works by Núria Roman, Núria de Febrer, Neus Santacana and Gregory Gaddoni, four artists with distinct styles and artistic sensibilities. Figurative painting, abstract compositions, geometric forms and evocative landscapes coexist in a display designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace.
Alcaufar Vell provides a particularly attractive setting for foodie travellers. The venue occupies a historic Menorcan country house surrounded by rural scenery, traditional architecture and Mediterranean gardens. A visit can therefore combine contemporary art with local heritage and a gastronomic experience rooted in the island.
AlcaufART is an appealing cultural alternative to complement lunch, dinner or an excursion through south-eastern Menorca. It offers visitors the opportunity to approach contemporary creativity in a historic setting and discover another side of the island beyond its beaches and usual tourist routes.
