Alaior prepares to host the 9th Tourism, Events and Celebrations Fair with a wide programme of activities

Alaior will once again position itself at the centre of Menorca’s tourism and events activity with the ninth edition of the Tourism, Events and Celebrations Fair, taking place on April 11 and 12, 2026. The sports hall of IES Josep Miquel Guàrdia will host an event combining professional exhibitions, gastronomy, music and family activities.

The fair will open on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with a wide range of stands both inside and outside the venue. Companies linked to tourism and event organisation will present their offerings, including agrotourism, hotels, experiences, gastronomy, wines, excursions, technical services and entertainment, as well as training opportunities. Outside, visitors will also enjoy an artisan market complementing the offer.

The official opening will take place at 10:30 a.m. with a tasting of a giant ensaimada. This will be followed, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., by the International Tourism Forum, featuring prominent figures from institutional and business sectors who will discuss current challenges and opportunities in tourism.

Saturday’s programme will continue with activities for all audiences: family shows, a showcooking session by chef Dimas Roldán, and musical performances such as Juke Box. The highlight will come at 7:00 p.m. with a concert by Manu Tenorio, before the closing scheduled for 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday, the fair will reopen at 10:00 a.m. with a special focus on celebrations such as weddings, anniversaries and communions. Throughout the morning there will be company demonstrations, family shows and unique activities such as a talk about the eclipse and an equestrian performance. There will also be cultural exhibitions, showcooking sessions and live music by the band Fusionados.

The fair will close at 2:30 p.m., bringing to an end an intense weekend that reinforces Alaior’s role as a key meeting point for the tourism and events sector in Menorca. This new edition reaffirms the aim of boosting the local economy and offering attractive experiences for both professionals and the general public.
